Is NFS for HornetQ HA supported on Solaris?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

In the administration & configuration guide ch. 18.16.3 it says:

HornetQ supports two different configurations for shared stores:
GFS2 on a SAN, using the ASYNCIO journal type.
NFSv4, using either the ASYNCIO or NIO journal type.

  • Is NFS for HornetQ HA also supported on Solaris, or only on RHEL?
    • Is there an equivalent constraint to “The Red Hat Enterprise Linux NFS client cache must be disabled.” on Solaris?
  • Will NFS for HA on a shared store be supported on RHEL only, or on Solaris, too?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.x
    • High Availability(HA) on NFS
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • Solaris
