Issue

When attempting to start an IP resource using an IPv6 address, it fails to start if the resource is configured using upper case letters in the address field.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with the High Availability Add-On
  • rgmanager
  • resource-agent prior to release 3.9.2-40.el6
  • One or more <ip/> resources in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf with an IPv6 address that contains upper-case characters
