How I can identify what component is making RabbitMQ Consuming so much Memory and Disk Space

Issue

  • RabbitMQ is consuming a lot of memory during some high memory demand and/or no consumers from openstack services as Ceilometer.
  • RabbitMQ is consuming a lot of disk space in /var/lib/rabbitmq/mnesia/rabbit@<hostname>/msg_store_transient/
  • RabbitMQ service stops unexpectedly as per previous conditions.
