How can I rebuild the initramfs on RHEV-H
Issue
It is not possible to regenerate the initial RAM file system (initramfs) in the same way as in case of standard Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as RHEV-H is a read only system. There is a tool called ovirt-node-rebuild-initramfs which is able to regenerated the initramfs.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor (RHEV-H) 3.6 and later
- Red Hat Virtualization Host (RHV-H) 4.0 and later
