Cluster controlled LVM resource fails a status check during lvconvert activity

Issue

  • The cluster service encountered a failure and it was marked as failed then one of the lvm resource used by this service was converted from linear to mirror using following command:

    $ lvconvert -m1  /dev/vg01/lv0
    

    Therre were following error messages observed in /var/log/messages file at the time of service failure:
