Unable to capture memory dump of the instance running on Open Stack
Issue
- Its Open Stack setup. unable to ssh the instances but pingable without any issue. security gorups are fine. So, to findout the cause if we try to capture vmcore with
virshcommand, it fails:
virsh dump --memory-only instance-000012f6 /tmp/instance-000012f6.core
- But it just hung & produced no output.
