CDI injections fail if a deployment overlay for descriptors is used in an application deployed at EAP6
Issue
- A EAR file contains a module which enable CDI by having a META-INF/beans.xml. This work correct without an applied overlay
If any of the descriptors is overlayed the CDI injection will not be processed! The variables remain NULL. - The deployment fail after using deployment overlay with WELD-001408 dependency errors
