Issue

  • Why does check.sh script terminate prematurely with RULE ID xccdf_preupg_rule_others_configchanges_check?
  • The script check.sh installed by preupgrade-assistant-2.1.1-5.el6.x86_64 generates the following error:
error: file /root/preupgrade/RHEL6_7/others/configchanges/root/.bash_logout: No such file or directory
/root/preupgrade/RHEL6_7/others/configchanges/check.sh: line 53: & 16 : syntax error: operand expected (error token is "& 16 ")

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7
  • preupgrade-assistant-2.1.1-5.el6.x86_64
