Various new RHDS10 attributes are not described in the Command and File Reference Guide

Issue

  • During our project to migrate our RHDS9 environments to RHDS10, we noticed the addition of several extra attributes in the cn=config section (dse.ldif) which I cannot find anything about in the command and file reference guide on RHDS10.
  • I'd like to have these features (and anything I might actually not be seeing) added to the documentation so I can make an estimate on their tuning value.
  • In all it handles the following attributes:

    • cn=config:

      nsslapd-SSLclientAuth: allowed
      nsslapd-allow-hashed-passwords: off
      nsslapd-allowed-sasl-mechanisms:
      nsslapd-cn-uses-dn-syntax-in-dns: off
      nsslapd-connection-buffer: 1
      nsslapd-connection-nocanon: on
      nsslapd-enable-turbo-mode: on
      nsslapd-ignore-virtual-attrs: off
      nsslapd-moddn-aci: on
nsslapd-nagle: on (this was off by default in RHDS9, why is it on in RHDS10?)
      nsslapd-ndn-cache-enabled: on
      nsslapd-plugin-logging: off
      nsslapd-sasl-mapping-fallback: off
      nsslapd-schemamod: on
      nsslapd-search-return-original-type-switch: off
      nsslapd-snmp-index: 0

    • cn=config,cn=ldbm database,cn=plugins,cn=config:

      nsslapd-backend-opt-level: 1
      nsslapd-db-compactdb-interval: 2592000
      nsslapd-db-transaction-batch-max-wait: 50
      nsslapd-db-transaction-batch-min-wait: 50
