On Red Hat Satellite 6.1 Client Puppet certificate signing is fails with " Unable to sign PuppetCA certificate for contenthost1.example.com ([RestClient::NotAcceptable]: 406 Not Acceptable)" error on the web-ui.
Issue
- Trying to sign the Puppet client certificate on the Satellite UI throws in an error:
Unable to sign PuppetCA certificate for contenthost1.example.com ([RestClient::NotAcceptable]: 406 Not Acceptable)
- Can see below error message in
/var/log/foreman/production.logon satellite-6 after puppet certificate signing for a client fails :
