MongoDB fails to start on Red Hat Satellite 6

Issue

  • Unable to start MongoDB in Red Hat satellite/capsule.
  • Moved the db files of MongoDB to another location to free up /var space and the service doesn't start anymore.
  • resource_manager giving error : No handlers could be found for logger "pulp.server.db.connection"
# service mongod start
Starting mongod:                                           [  OK  ]
Waiting for mongod to become available:                    [FAILED]
# service pulp_resource_manager start
celery init v10.0.
Using config script: /etc/default/pulp_resource_manager
celery multi v3.1.11 (Cipater)
> Starting nodes...
        > resource_manager@example.capsule.com: No handlers could be found for logger "pulp.server.db.connection"
