Issue

  • Is it possible to create a Ceph keyring which allows read-only access to objects?

  • For now, OSDs should be allowed all access even though MONs can be given read-only access, as below:

# ceph auth get-or-create client.read-only mon 'allow r' osd 'allow *' > ceph.client.read-only.keyring

Environment

  • Red Hat Ceph Storage 1.2.3

  • Red Hat Ceph Storage 1.3
