Debugging vmcore with crash command ends with an error "vmcore do not match !"
Issue
- I gathered a kernel crash vmcore, but cannot debug it/open it with crash command. I get these errors:
crash: cannot determine base kernel version
crash: /usr/lib/debug/lib/modules/2.6.18-308.el5debug/vmlinux and tmp/var/crash/127.0.0.1-2012-09-10-10:21:48/vmcore do not match!
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- kernel-2.6.18-308.el5 (x86_64)
