Satellite lists errata available for a client, but the errata already seems to be installed on the client.

Issue

  • Satellite shows errata available for a client, but when on checking the rpm version on the client, it seems the errata is already installed.
  • Running yum clean all && rhn-profile-sync on the client also does not reflect any changes on the satellite server.

Environment

  • Red Hat Network Satellite 5.4.1
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6
