Satellite 6: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found" installing packages from external capsule

Issue

Client is not able to pull the updates from external capsule server.
External capsule server is not receiving content from satellite server although the 'hammer shell' task completes without error.
Inability to synchronize external capsule.
"yum install" packages on the client registered with the capsule throws error message [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"
