yum update failed with "ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve" in Red Hat Enterpris Linux 5 for a custom package built in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Issue
- We created a custom package on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
- And, we tried to install it in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
- But,
yum updatecommand failed with the following error.
Running rpm_check_debug
ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve:
rpmlib(FileDigests) is needed by custompkg-1.0.0-1.el5.noarch
rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) is needed by custompkg-1.0.0-1.el5.noarch
