Is the "Pad" attribute on the XidFactory needed in JBoss EAP for Oracle XA datasources?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

We have read in a JBoss wiki as well as in the EAP docs [1] that it is necessary to set the Pad attribute to true for the XidFactory MBean when we use Oracle XA datasources:

<!-- The configurable Xid factory. For use with Oracle, set pad to true -->
<mbean code="org.jboss.tm.XidFactory"
       name="jboss:service=XidFactory">
    <!--attribute name="Pad">true</attribute-->
</mbean>

Does this still apply?
