RHQ_AGENT_UMASK is sometimes ignored while creating files inside JBoss ON agent's rhq-agent/data/rc directory

Issue

  • Files created inside rhq-agent/data/rc/ are ignoring umask
  • Some data files created with global read/write (0666) permission set
  • RHQ_AGENT_UMASK is not always used when creating agent data files

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.2
  • File permissions for a file under JBoss ON agent's data/rc/ directory
