BlockDeviceDriver does not work as documented.
Issue
- The
BlockDeviceDriverfor Openstack Cinder is supposed to create a direct connection to the local disks if the instance and the disk are on the same physical servers. As described here https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/BlockDeviceDriver - However, it actually makes an iSCSI connection even when the instance and disk are on the same node.
- When
BlockDeviceDriverwill be included in RHOS ?
