Wacom Cintiq tablet dual-monitor configuration incorrectly maps touch coordinates to screen coordinates in RHEL6

Solution Verified - Updated -

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.0 - 6.2

Issue

  • For dual-monitor configurations using a Wacom Cintiq as one of the monitors (with different resolutions), a dead-space offset is introduced either in the vertical or horizontal directions. This creates a disparity between touch coordinates and the associated screen coordinates which results in inaccurately representing a touch action on the screen.
