How to edit the standalone.bat file so that it can be executed from any location in the file system in EAP6

Issue

  • How to edit the "$JBOSS_HOME/bin/standalone.bat" so that it can be executed from any location of the file system.

  • For Example : How to execute the "standalone.bat" script from "C:/testDir"

  • I already setting the JBOSS_HOME to a valid JBoss EAP6 installation directory however it is not working.

  • Additionally why i am seeing the following WARNNING message while starting my JBoss EAP6 using standalone.bat file:

WARNING JBOSS_HOME may be pointing to a different installation - unpredictable results may occur
