Is there support for the Wacom DTK-2241 tablet in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Does RHEL 6 have support for Wacom DTK-2241 tablet?
  • I have connected a Wacom DTK-2241 tablet to RHEL 6.4 machine and lsusb detects the Tablet,

Bus 002 Device 005: ID 056a:0058 Wacom Co., Ltd
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 056a:0057 Wacom Co., Ltd

But xinput doesn't detect the Tablet:

⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Chicony HP Elite USB Keyboard id=6 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Macintosh mouse button emulation id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Optical Mouse id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Chicony HP Elite USB Keyboard id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ Power Button id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]

  • dmesg output doesn't appear a driver registered when Wacom DTK-2241 Tablet is connected in RHEL 6.
