JBoss EAP window domain Service does not stop

Issue

  • We have installed EAP domain service successfully but stopping of the service hangs in "Stopping" state.The controller log does not show a stop request being issues
  • Windows 2012 Domain Service does not stop
  • Able to start JBoss via the Windows Services Console and stop JBoss using the cli; however, JBoss hangs and does not stop when trying to stop JBoss via the Windows Services Console, with the following error in the Windows event log:
