Issue

  • pcs cluster node remove <nodename or IP> produces an error "Unable to update any nodes" and the node is still listed in pcs output, even though the node had its corosync.conf removed.
[root@rhel7-node1 ~]# pcs cluster node remove rhel7-node2.example.com
rhel7-node2.example.com: Stopping Cluster (pacemaker)...
rhel7-node2.example.com: Successfully destroyed cluster
Error: unable to remove rhel7-node2.example.com on rhel7-node1.example.com - Error connecting to rhel7-node1.example.com - (HTTP error: 500)
Error: Unable to update any nodes
  • The command "pcs cluster node remove " does not work
