HttpSessionListener not getting called in standalone HA cluster mode in JBoss EAP 6

Issue

  • HttpSessionListener.sessionCreated() gets called when the web application is running on a single standalone EAP 6 server
  • But is not being called when running 2 standalone servers in HA mode (with Apache2 and mod_proxy load balancing between the 2 servers).
  • Are there some settings that I am missing when running the web application on an HA cluster?
