Graphical application fails to start with ~/.fontconfig directory.
Issue
- Graphical applications fail to start when
.fontconfigdirectory is under user's home directory. - Application works well after deleting
~/.fontconfig/directory.
rm -rf ~/.fontconfig/
- The directory gets created automatically and problem re-appears after few days.
Environment
- Red Hat enterprise Linux 5
- nfs shared home directory
