Unable to delete file on GFS2 filesystem in a RHEL 5 or 6 Resilient Storage cluster
Issue
- I can not remove a file on
GFS2, andfsck.gfs2does not fix it. - Attempts to remove a file located on
GFS2filesystem fail, but a 'cp' and 'vi' against the file are successful:
# cp file1.xml file1.xml.bak
# rm file1.xml
rm: remove regular file `file1.xml'? y
rm: cannot remove `file1.xml': No such file or directory
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the Resilient Storage Add On
- GFS2
