Error on Karaf console: "org.apache.felix.eventadmin.impl.adapter.LogEventAdapter removed as a LogListener, since it threw an exception"

Issue

I get the following error in the SSH console:

'org.apache.felix.eventadmin.impl.adapter.LogEventAdapter$1@XXXXX' is removed as a LogListener, since it threw an exception.

It only occurs once for the lifetime of the container but re-occurs after restarting the container.
