preupg reports a wrong memory size for a system with a large memory in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Issue
- I used preupg command to prepare the upgrade from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
- preupg reports a wrong memory size 512MB for a system with 512GB memory, and it failed with a EXTREME INPLACE upgrade risk.
Minimum required memory is 1024MB. But you have only 512!
...
INPLACERISK: EXTREME: Memory is lower than minimum requirements!
