Message "Invalid bundle distribution file. BundleType/Recipe not recognized by any deployed server bundle plugin." when trying to upload bundle with JBoss ON

Issue

  • When we try to upload the bundle we get the following error:
[Distribution File] Failed to upload bundle distribution file : javax.ejb.EJBException:java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid bundle distribution file. BundleType/Recipe not recognized by any deployed server bundle plugin. -> java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:Invalid bundle distribution file. BundleType/Recipe not recognized by any deployed server bundle plugin.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.3

  • The recipe file deploy.xml is located in folder together with other files - for instance:

    myBundleFolder
    |_ myArchives
    |_ myProperties
    |_ deploy.xml
