udev does not create /dev/sdX device files for USB device.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When USB device is connected to the system, following messages are being logged in /var/log/messages file which indicates that USB device is detected as disk sde. But it was found that there was not device file /dev/sde created for it.
