Getting "symbol dm_task_enable_checks, version Base not defined" after LVM package update
Issue
- ran package update and now receiving the following message in /var/log/messages:
[process]: event registration failed: 25777:3 libdevmapper-event-lvm2mirror.so dlopen failed: /lib64/liblvm2cmd.so.2.02: symbol dm_task_enable_checks, version Base not defined in file libdevmapper.so.1.02 with link time reference
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or higher
