My IPaddr2 resource does not fail or recover when the network interface's link goes down in a RHEL 6 or 7 High Availability cluster with pacemaker
Issue
- I have an
IPaddr2
resource configured in my cluster, and when I pull a cable it does not fail or get recovered. - When I unplug the cable for a Virtual IP interface,
pacemaker
does not detect a resource failure.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7 with the High Availability Add On
pacemaker
- One or more
IPaddr2
resources - No
ethmonitor
resource for the network interface in question
