Accessing Red Hat Network Satellite Server RHN Updates Through a Web Proxy
Issue
- A Satellite server is unable to update via yum to the Red Hat Network Hosted product
- The server can register, un-register and re-register without issue
- If registered, a yum update on the system does not complete
- satellite-sync works to pull down and update Red Hat Network Satellite channels
Environment
- Red Hat Network Satellite 5.4.1
- web proxy server being used to access RHN for Satellite server updates
- Satellite system is registered to the Red Hat Network Hosted website
