All X11 applications losing connection to X display using the NVidia driver in RHEL5
Issue
- Something is happening inside of Xorg where all X server client connections are getting killed at the same time with the following error:
The application '<unknown>' lost its connection to the display :0.0;
most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed
the application.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5
- NVidia Proprietary Driver
