Issue

  • Why does Context.listBindings not work on remote clients with JBoss EAP 6?
  • I either get the following exception or an empty list:
javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Need to specify class name in environment or system property, or as an applet parameter, or in an application resource file:  java.naming.factory.initial

  • context.listBinding() method not working in JBoss EAP 6 while Remote JNDI Lookup

  • ctx.list() is not returning anything from a remote JNDI client

Environment
