Active/Passive JBoss EAP 6 clustering
Environment
- RedHat Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 6.x
Issue
- How to configure
active/passivemode in JBoss EAP 6 High Availability cluster? - Is it possible in
active/passivemode to start passive cluster automatically when active cluster is down?
Resolution
- Refer to JBoss EAP 6 Clustering article for sample configuration and guide to configure
active/passiveclustering. Active/Passivemode means the load balancer will control the traffic flow while the active & passive clusters are both up at the same time. There is no way to start the passive cluster automatically when the active cluster is down, you have to start passive cluster manually.
