Gnome-terminal ignores Global Dark Theme in RHEL7.2

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Gnome-shell offers a possibility to turn window decorations dark globally. This can be activated through Gnome-tweak-tool and affects only Gnome applications (not Firefox, LibreOffice, ...). But new version of Gnome-terminal ignores this setting and displays its title bar, menu etc. with light background.
  • The Global dark theme broken for gnome-terminal in RHEL7.2.
  • If the global dark theme is enabled in gnome-tweak-tool, gnome-terminal no longer is dark. Any new gnome-terminal window does not have the dark theme.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 Beta
  • gnome-terminal-3.14.3-2.el7.x86_64
