Many "systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service" messages in RHEL

Issue

  • I notice that we have a lot of events :

    Sep 21 11:46:26 srv1 systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service.
Sep 21 11:46:31 srv1 systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service.
Sep 21 11:46:32 srv1 systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service.
Sep 21 11:46:32 srv1 systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service.

    Everyting works OK but I don't understand why we have so many events.

  • several times per second this message appears in /var/log/messages

    Oct  8 11:01:13 dbs001 systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service.
Oct  8 11:01:13 dbs001 systemd: Started CUPS Printing Service.
