Users in custom roles unable to approve other user's service provision request

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • I would like to customize a role that would be able to view/approve/deny another user's service provision request. It appears as though unless I am a user, in a group, tied to the EvmRole-super_administrator, EvmRole-administrator, or EvmRole-approver roles, I am unable to view/approve/deny another user's service provision request.

  • As a test, I simply coppied the "EvmRole-approver" to a new role, "CustomRole-approver" and mapped the user's group to this new custom role. I did not modify the "CustomRole-approver." The user was unable see other service provision requests.

  • Is this functionality really restricted to the default roles? Is there a way around this?
