Why large images can't be uploaded to cinder ?

Issue

• When a large image is uploaded it gives error 500 once finished to upload completly:

# glance image-create --name my300gbimage  --file ./my300gbdisk.qcow--is-public True  --disk-format qcow2 --container-format bare --progress
[=============================>] 100%
500 Internal Server Error: Failed to upload image f8fb7745-7a5d-424c-96db-2584face4d03 (HTTP 500)

• I get the following error when uploading an image:
