How can I disable the sbd shared-storage watchdog daemon in a RHEL 7 High Availability cluster?
Issue
- I set up
sbdin mypacemakercluster, but then decided to go in a different direction, so I needed to remove it from the configuration. If I disablesbd, sethave-watchdog=falseand then restart the cluster,pacemakerfails immediately after starting with "no watchdog device configured"
[root@rhel7-node1 ~]# pcs cluster start --all
rhel7-node1.example.com: Starting Cluster...
rhel7-node2.example.com: Starting Cluster...
[root@rhel7-node1 ~]#
