How to create xfs filesystem with custom options during kickstart?
Issue
- There does not seem to be any way to provide
XFScreation options during installation in kickstart. - Kickstart offers the
"--fsprofile"option, but that only seems to apply toext*file systems. Asxfsis default file system for RHEL7, we need to have this option for XFS. - We should be able to create a
XFSfilesystem with custom options from the kickstart file as we create it usingmkfscommand:
mkfs.xfs -i size=512 -n size=8192 -d su=64k,sw=3 /dev/vg_dasd/root
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1
- anaconda-19.31.111-1.el7
