fsck.gfs2 fails with the error "Unable to locate the system master directory"
Issue
• When fsck.gfs2 is ran on a GFS2 filesystem the following error occurs:
# fsck.gfs2 -y /dev/mapper/vgShared-mygfs2fs42
Initializing fsck
Either the super block is corrupted, or this is not a GFS2 filesystem
Gathering information to repair the gfs2 superblock. This may take some time.
Block size determined to be: 4096
Unable to locate the system master directory.
