TKSKnownSessionKey selftest Fails During TKS Startup in Red Hat Certificate System 8.1

Issue

  • After upgrading from Red Hat Certificate System 8.0 to Red Hat Certificate System 8.1, TKS subsystem fails to start during self test at TKSKnownSessionKey.
  • The following errors are found in the catalina.out file:
DeriveKey: Can't create key, using encrypt and derive method ! error -8192
DeriveKey: Can't derive key using CONCATENATE method!
Can't find shared secret transport key!

Environment

  • Red Hat Certificate System 8.1
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8
  • Any HSM
