Making persistent IBM TSM tape devices on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) is using /dev/IBMtape and /dev/IBMchanger tape devices, these device names change upon each reboot on Linux Servers. How to persistently bind the /dev/IBMtape name to a specific tape device?
