Documentation and example of accessing JON Server via a remote Java Client

Issue

  • I need more documentation on the remote Java client API
  • A remote Java client is mentioned in section Best practices for remote clients of the Installation Guide, but where are some more detailed instructions or examples?
  • I need Javadoc and something for getting started with using the remote client API (what JARs are required, system properties that need set, how to point to management server, etc.)
  • We have written javascript which we execute at the moment through the rhq-remote-client on JON. We now want to execute the Javascript through our Java Application.Which would be the prefered way to do this?We thought just executing the rhq-remote-client from Java seems to be not the best way.
