Issue
- I am attempting to install the prerequisites for the MegaRaid Storage Manager software and am receiving the following:
[root@host] # sudo insmod /lib/modules/2.6.32-279.2.1.el6.x86_64/kernel/drivers/message/fusion/mptsas.ko
insmod: error inserting 'mptsas.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module
- Inserting modules with
insmodfails with:
insmod: error inserting 'mptsas.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
