Some Flash/Flex widgets don't display correctly on firefox 10.0.5, flash-plugin 11.2.202

Issue

  • We are viewing a flash/flex application that displays correctly when using the same versions of Firefox and Flash on a Windows XP PC.
  • The problem is that some text fields are filled with XXXXX (X with a box around it) instead of the characters. Also, some widgets do not work correctly.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2
  • Firefox 10.0.5
  • flash-plugin-11.2.202
