Why "gdm" is filling root partition by endlessly writing to Saved_State file?
Issue
- Occasionally root partition is getting full on multiple workstations.
- The cause is always a very large
/var/lib/gdm/.gconfd/saved_statefile. - Problem occurs occasionally and no re-producer steps identified so far.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- GConf2-2.28.0-6.el6
